In general, the project consists of approximately 1275 linear feet with alternates totaling an additional 1480 linear feet of vinyl sheet pile installation in front of existing steel sheet pile wall, installation of timber wale and soil anchoring system, backfill and compaction of voids, removal/replacement of concrete sidewalk, and site restoration. Alternates may be awarded in whole or in part at the discretion of the OWNER.

  Competitive sealed Bids for the SHORELINE PROTECTION REHABILITATION, PHASE
2, together with all appurtenances, will be received by the Pearl River Valley Water Supply
District, at the Board Room of the Pearl River Valley Water Supply District until 11:30 A.M.,
local time, on the 13th day of July, 2017; and then at said office publicly opened and read
aloud.

  In general, the project consists of approximately 1275 linear feet with alternates
totaling an additional 1480 linear feet of vinyl sheet pile installation in front of existing

compaction of voids, removal/replacement of concrete sidewalk, and site restoration.

  Copies may be obtained by placing your order here or at the Office of PICKERING FIRM, INC. upon payment of
One Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($100.00)for each set – none of which is refundable.

  Bids shall be submitted, sealed and deposited at the office of the Pearl River Valley
Water Supply District prior to the hour and date above designated.

  Each Bidder must deposit with his Bid, a Bid Bond or Certified Check in an amount equal
to five percent (5%) of his Bid, payable to Pearl River Valley Water Supply District as bid security.
Bidders shall also submit a current financial statement if requested by the Board.

  Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi Law and show Certificate of Responsibility
issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors. Each Bidder shall write his
Certificate of Responsibility Number on the outside of the sealed envelope containing his Bid.

  No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within Sixty (60) days after the actual date of the
opening thereof.

  The successful Bidder must provide both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond
(each in the amount of one hundred percent [100%] of the Contract) upon execution of the
Contract.

  The Contract Time is 180 calendar days with a liquidated damages provision of Eight
Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($800.00)
per calendar day thereafter.

  Pearl River Valley Water Supply District reserves the right to reject any and or all bids,
waive technicalities, informalities, or irregularities in the bids received, solicit new bids, or to
choose that bid which is deemed to be in the best interest of the Pearl River Valley Water
Supply District.

Payment must only be made using a deposit check and cannot be paid for with a credit card.

Contract documents will not be delivered/shipped until receipt of deposit check. Orders will be delivered/shipped within 1-2 business days from time of deposit check received.

Order will include any existing addendas that have been issued. Addendums will be distributed to all planholders as they are released by COMPANY.

ADDENDUM DISTRIBUTION

Existing planholders will be notified by email upon the release of any addendum. Failure to order bid sets through Jackson Blueprint and not being on the planholders list may prevent you from being notified of issued addenda. Printed copies of addendum will be available as part of your bid package upon request by contacting Jackson Blueprint.

Addenda notifications are sent via email from the mail account of “notification@jaxblue.com” and could be flagged as spam by your company network firewall. To prevent not receiving timely notification of these addenda, please contact your company Information Technology Manager and ask that he “white list” the domain of jaxblue.com to prevent emails from being captured.
