MS 39428 until 2:00 p.m. on, July 19, 2018, for:
the Project known as

Collins Vo-Tech Re-Roof
Hopewell Elementary Re-Roof
The bids will be publicly opened and read on July 19, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the Covington County School
District Administration Building located at 1211 S. Dogwood Ave., Collins, MS 39428. Plans and specifications
are on file at certain plan rooms and copies thereof may be obtained from:
Dean and Dean/Associates Architects, P.A.

Jackson, MS 39211-5922
A deposit of $200.00 will be refunded to bidders upon return of each complete set in good condition within ten
days after opening of bids. No partial sets of documents will be issued.
Proposal shall be submitted on Bid Forms provided with the specifications. The current Certificate of
Responsibility Number of the bidder shall appear on the outside of each sealed envelope containing a
proposal, said envelope being plainly marked "PROPOSAL FOR" CCSD - Collins Vo-Tech Re-Roof and
Hopewell Elementary Re-Roof.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in an amount equal to 5% of the bid,
payable to the Covington County School District as bid security.
A Payment and Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price shall be required of the
successful bidder.
The Contract will be awarded to the lowest, best and acceptable bidder, except that the Covington County
School District reserves the right to waive any informality in the bidding and to reject any and all bids.

Deposits are refundable upon return of documents in good condition by 07/30/18 to Dean and Dean Architects
Payment must only be made using a deposit check and cannot be paid for with a credit card.
Documents will be delivered/shipped only upon receipt of check; expedite process by sending an electronic copy of deposit check to Email: tchapman@deandean.com Orders will be delivered/shipped within 1-2 business days of deposit receipt.
Deposits are required from all bidders.
ADDENDUM DISTRIBUTION
Existing planholders will be notified by email upon the release of any addendum. Failure to order bid sets through Jackson Blueprint and not being on the planholders list may prevent you from being notified of issued addenda. Printed copies of addendum will be available as part of your bid package upon request by contacting Jackson Blueprint.
Addenda notifications are sent via email from the mail account of “notification@jaxblue.com” and could be flagged as spam by your company network firewall. To prevent not receiving timely notification of these addenda, please contact your company Information Technology Manager and ask that he “white list” the domain of jaxblue.com to prevent emails from being captured.
