Advertisement for Bids
Qualified bidders may submit bids for project as described in this Document. Submit bids according to
the Instructions to Bidders. All local, state and federal applicable laws and regulations shall govern
submittal, opening, and award of bids. Project Identification: Site and Building Improvements; E.E. Bass
Cultural Arts Center, 323 South Main Street, Greenville, Mississippi. Project Description: Site
improvements including parking areas, sidewalks, fencing, signage, lighting, and plantings. Building
improvements include a new catering kitchen and restroom renovations.
Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below. Owner
will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered
as follows: Bid Date: Thursday, March 10, 2016. Bid Time: 2:00 P.M, local time. Location, E. E. Bass
Cultural Arts Center, Administrative Office, 323 S. Main Street, Greenville, Mississippi 38701. Bids will
be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount
of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of
bids. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on site Wednesday, March 2 @ 10:00 A.M. Printed

Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work
within the Contract Time. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective
trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate
Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the
successful Bidder.
The E. E. Bass Education and Development Foundation reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to
waive any informalities or irregularities therein. This advertisement for bids is issued by the Building
Committee of the Board of Directors of the E. E. Bass Education and Development Foundation.

Purchase of entire printed bid set includes all plans and specifications, including any addendas released at time of order. Planholders will be notified by email when future addendums are issued and it will be the responsibility of each bid set holder to either download the addenda from the website, or contact Jackson Blueprint to place an order for a printed copy of the addenda. Shipping, if required, is added to any order based on method selected. Out-of-State orders will not be charged sales tax. In-state orders will be charged 8.0% sales tax.
Online orders are fulfilled within 1-2 business days. Credit card authorization and verification must be received prior to processing. All sales are final.
ADDENDUM DISTRIBUTION
Existing planholders will be notified by email upon the release of any addendum. Failure to order bid sets through Jackson Blueprint and not being on the planholders list may prevent you from being notified of issued addenda. Printed copies of addendum will be available as part of your bid package upon request by contacting Jackson Blueprint.
Addenda notifications are sent via email from the mail account of “notification@jaxblue.com” and could be flagged as spam by your company network firewall. To prevent not receiving timely notification of these addenda, please contact your company Information Technology Manager and ask that he “white list” the domain of jaxblue.com to prevent emails from being captured.
