A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference has been scheduled at the Clinton-Sampson County Airport. Attendance at this Pre-Bid Conference is MANDATORY for all bidders intending to submit a prime bid on this project. A sign-in sheet shall be completed by each attendee at the Pre-Bid Meeting as evidence of attendance. Sealed proposals will be received by the Clinton-Sampson County Airport at 89 Sampson Airport Rd, Clinton, NC 28328 and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for the furnishing of labor, material and equipment for Access Road and Drainage Improvements. Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the Bidder’s name, full mailing address, and General Contractor License Number shown as the return address. Sealed envelopes shall be addressed to:

All Contractors are hereby notified that they must have proper licenses under the state law for their trades. General Contractors are notified that applicable statues of North Carolina will be observed in receiving and awarding general contracts.
The State Department of Transportation and the United States Government have agreed to reimburse the Owner for portions of the project costs. The Owner will not accept or consider proposals from any contractor whose name, at the time of opening of bids or award, appears on the current list of ineligible contractors published by the Comptroller General of the United States under Section 5.6 (b) of the regulations of the Secretary of Labor (29) CFR nor a proposal from any firm, corporation, partnership, or proprietorship in which an ineligible contractor who, at the time of the opening of bids or the award, is removed from the North Carolina Department of Transportation’s list of prequalified contractors.

Purchase of entire printed bid set includes all plans and specifications, including any addendas released at time of order. Planholders will be notified by email when future addendums are issued and it will be the responsibility of each bid set holder to either download the addenda from the website, or contact their local office to place an order for a printed copy of the addenda. Shipping, if required, is added to any order based on method selected. Out-of-State orders will not be charged sales tax. In-state orders will be charged 8.0% sales tax.
Online orders are fulfilled within 1-2 business days. Credit card authorization and verification must be received prior to processing. All sales are final.
ADDENDUM DISTRIBUTION
Existing planholders will be notified by email upon the release of any addendum. Failure to order bid sets through ------- and not being on the planholders list may prevent you from being notified of issued addenda. Printed copies of addendum will be available as part of your bid package upon request by contacting your local office. Click here to find the location nearest you.
Addenda notifications are sent via email from the mail account of “----------” and could be flagged as spam by your company network firewall. To prevent not receiving timely notification of these addenda, please contact your company Information Technology Manager and ask that he “white list” the domain of -----------.com to prevent emails from being captured.
